Default M & H Tires

I just got a set M & H Racemaster DOT Muscle car tires. They came with no mounting instructions. I seem to remember my last set to be directional? Something like the serial number faces out on the Pass side and faces in on the Drivers side? Anyone know if it matters? Thanks

Don, Thanks for the info. I spoke to the engineer for M&H tires today who agreed with your recomendation. I also had the pleasure of talking to Marvin Rifchin, the founder of M&H who said, if there are no arrows, the rule was that the passenger side tire has the serial # on the tire facing inward toward the axle, and on the drivers side the serial number faces out so that it is visible when looking at the face of the wheel. M&H is no longer in Mass, with production moved to Ohio, I believe. I get the impression the Company may have been sold, with Mr. Rifchin acting in some sort of capacity with the new company.

Hey Bill, Can you share the contact info for M&H Tire Co and Marvin? I'm looking for some old style M&H Racemaster Slicks and a couple of yellow M&H contingency decals. Thanks

Here's the link to Interco Tire which manufactures the M&H brand. http://www.mhracemaster.com/

As to Marvin Rifchin, I contacted him at his home. He was very cordial and helpful, but don't know if he would remain so if I posted his number here.

Bill.....Thanks for the link, I found the M&H decals on that site. I believe Marvin still has some original decals with the M&H Tire Co, Watertown, Mass. on the bottom. I saw some on an Altered wb 64 Chevy II at the E-town F/C reunion, and the owner told me he got them from Marvin directly. Can you PM Marvins phone number?
