Default New NHRA "PURE STOCK" Class

This class has been created for modern performance cars, but from what I can read a stock COPO car would be included...

Default Re: New NHRA "PURE STOCK" Class

SWEET! When I read the title of your post I figured it was gonna be a "clone" to IHRA's Pure Stock class...but this is even better!! I've been hearing of an unwritten rule at the NHRA tracks of late simply called the Viper/Vette rule...and that's basically what that link describes.

My guess is that since IHRA has been kickin' NHRA's tail as of late, and IHRA has an 11.49 limit, NHRA figured they'd take the "join 'em" route...

Good link!
