Has anybody here installed a set of Hooker Super Competition Sidemount Headers on a 1st generation Camaro with a small block...I will be attempting this feat for the first time this weekend and would appreciate any pointers so I don't offend any neighbors while voicing my frustration....

I put them on my first camaro a long time ago, but I still might be able to help.

Charlie, I am usually over at Team Camaro, same sig. I read here, but have limited input about super cars. That pic was circa 1982. First Camaro, when I did not know anything. The car was a base 327 X44 camaro. Basically a put together car from lot of parts from all over, the RS and SS stuff was added.
The pipes were nice, I really liked how they sounded. But they hit every speed bump and you burnt your legs on the end of the pipes (where the insert muffler stopped).
