Any suggestions for Holley rebuild and recoloring vendors? Any opinions if mating surfaces should be machined? Also I am looking for someone that puts some effort into getting the color right, not that spray can gold dye stuff. Also genuine Holley rebuild parts should be used not some aftermarket stuff. I know what I want, just don't know where to find it. Thanks for the help.

Bill;
I'll be glad to help you out if you'd like. As far as machining all the mating surfaces, I do that on every carb I restore. Baseplates are bushed as necessary, and everything is restored back to OEM specs using the proper plating procedures. I do not use spray paint. My restorations also come with a 1-year warranty as well. Here's a pic of a 4555 I have listed in the "parts for sale" forum on this site. This will give you an idea of what my restorations look like. (keep in mind I'm not the worlds greatest photographer) ![]() Feel free to contact me at: [email protected] or call me at: (937) 836-5927 M-F 10:00-6:00 with the specifics on your carb and we'll go from there.
