Default problem with starter or ignition?

Hi all,My wifes 69'camaro just started doing this. Turn the key..click,turn the key..click,turn the key and it fires right up. Battery is fine.Connections are fine. Is it a bad starter or something else?. Thanks Bob 68 Z28rs

Might be the starter solenoid. I can be a real cheapskate, I have been known to rebuild one by just rotating the contacts 180 and flipping the disk over. That doubles it's lifetime.

Yep solenoid good start...... or bad place on the armature of the starter. If you have a good local parts store that check starters they should be able to pinpoint which one.
