Default firewall color

My friend is restoring a 68 GTO, and he swears that the original color is a shade of blue (i can't remember exactly which one), but the firewall in the car, underneath all the grease and grime, is a sort of metallic olive green color. check the trim tag and see what the code # is and you can be sure. also see if it has alum pop rivets holding it on.

Popular GTO color around my area back in '68 was that Verdoro Green paint [ it was an dark olive green color ]--looked great with redlines---------JoeG
