Excellent stuff....anything that helps understand how the General was handling the Copo process from the inside is a great read! . Wow, that Yellowstone lodge Extenda'Burban....wonder what's powering it? . What years did GM offer those V12 motors....always thought they were pretty neat? . The mail and little bus type trucks shown above make me think of that Chevy Experimental truck unit they used when testing at tracks etc....it was from this era. . Had some kind of antennae and data transmission stuff on the roof....maybe even said Chevrolet Experimental on it? . They may have used it when doing that disc brake testing and pad composite research....was it done using Camaros? . Anyone remember this rig? . Great documents....thanks! ~ Pete

WOW, look real closely at the pictures of the guys in the cubicles.
Are they working on Pace Cars for the 67 Indy 500?

Thanks for posting. These vintage articles are great. I believe most enthusiast knew that the copo program was not developed for supercars, but unconventional orders. The example shown are cool, you don't see those vehicle everyday.

Not sure on the years that the v-12 was made. Most people I remember talking to about them said " they were gas engines with 2 distributors, and had running problems most of the time". LOL
