Ebay's been hot with BIG Polyglas tires lately. I got outbid on both a set of H70-14's and L60-15's in the last two weeks. Both sets went for $120-150 per pair.

Default Baldwin-Motion Tires

Does anyone know if Motion offered 15" Polyglas GT tires on their Phase III cars?
I know most photos have the F70-14 on them but since Copos used 15", I was wondering about Motion. Thanks for any input you may have.

The 1969 COPO 9737 and Z/28 had the 15x7 wheel. A COPO without 9737 would have 14x7 same as SS wheel. Motion normally used an SS Camaro in 69 and most of the ones in the magazines had aftermarket wheels.

Jan. '69 issue of Rodder & Super/Stock tests an RS/SS '68 Phase III BM Camaro (L-88 & 4 speed equipped). The car had J70-14 in the front and L70-15 in the rear w/aftermarket wheels. Best run was 12.00 @ 114.5 mph on closed exhaust. With 9.5 in. slicks and open exhaust it ran 11.48 @ 121.7 mph.

Thank you for the input, gentlemen. I know Motion had Inglewood "L" series on the rears but they are extinct. If I can't find the Inglewoods, then at least I will install the correct tires offered for that year, even if they are the smaller F70-14s.
Thanks again.

No, as I stated several months ago in one of these supercar sites, I am building a clone for myself and my son. It will stay in the family when I am gone and not be sold off as an original; the VIN will always tell it is not authentic. However, every other part on the car will be dated, orignial, NOS, etc. It gives me something to do in my old age....a lot of fun researching the vehicle, especially through this site and also bidding through E-Bay. I was originally referred here by Kevin Sudyam and am very greatful for his direction. I have learned a lot through you guys and I appreciate you all sharing your vast knowledge.
