Default 1967 Nickey Chevelle

Maybe some of you guys can clear something up for me,I had inquired about 1967 NICKEY CHEVELLS a few months ago and was told there was only one in existence, well I received some e mail pictures of it and it shows Nickey script emblems above the crossed flags, shows a 3x2 setup also, that was suppose to be put on in 1968 after returned to the Nickey dealership.I just recieved the 1967 JUNE/JULY issue of MCR and the chevelle that is suppose to be a 67 Nickey, and I was told is the same car has some very noticeable differences. It has No 3x2 setup,no multiplex radio setup, different wheels, and no nickey script emblems above the crossed flag emblems on the front fenders.I was just wondering if this is the same car and why the differences!!And if it is not the same car is there two!! 1967 Nickey Chevelles.Seems if these were the same cars both would have the same engines with 3x2 setup and the Nickey script emblems. Can someone tell me the yer model wheel that is on the chevelle in the MCR magazine article, looks like late 60's or early 70's ralley wheel to me ,I was not aware they had a style wheel like that in 1967.Can anyone help me out on this!!!

What is your source of information that states there was only one 67 Nickey Chevelle? I do not have evidence of more then one but I would guess that more then one was built.

Joe, I think what he is saying is that until this article came out there had been only one documented car found. There are possibly more but where are they? The links for the pictures on this site no longer work to show the tri-power equipped black car to compare to the one in the article. I do not have the article so I cannot tell if it is the same car or not. I doubt that it is as who would change a documented vehicle to something it wasn't, especially a car modified by Nickey..................RatPack..................

In the article the owner is RICK,and is from the Chicago area and is a paint and body specialist according to the article and has a host of other muscle cars,Ratpack is correct,I understood that there was only one documented Nickey, and that is only what I read somewhere,I don't recall just where, I think it mught have been on the net somewhere because I have read so many articles on the web and in magazines.Iwas just thinking if these were the same car, then why so many differences.

Well I guess the subject of Nickey Chevelles is a sore subject or something here.I emailed pictures to the site and asked if the cars were the same,no response in 4 days means to me no one wants to talk about it.This makes me wonder even more about the car being REAL!!! or a CLONE!!!Looks like to me if the two cars are the same and I take it that they are and this is why the subject has been dropped.Did a CLONE!! get by you guys. Now don't take offense to this and start BASHING me I just wanted to know if the cars were the same and why the differences in them if they are the same cars,if this has offended anyone then accept my apology in advance.

Thanks

Bobby

If some of you do not know what two cars I am refering to ask the site to post pictures of them both and judge for yourself, you will see the differences in the two cars.

I e mailed the magazine pictures to the super car registry site, the other pictures were of the car on the Nickey site that no longer come up when you try to see them,I think the super car site still has them somewhere.

This is the picture from BBIGG BLOCK 396. I don't know anything about this car but it looks like it has AC and I don't see Nickey emblems. It may have been a car that Nickey just did and engine transplant. A factory L78 would not have AC.
