After following this board for a while, I decided to look and try to find another rare muscle car. Since I had previously owned a few I decided to try and buy one of the cars I once owned. I decided on trying to buy the 69 L-78 Chevelle conv I once owned. So I contacting the person I sold it to 4 years ago and I bought it back. The car is a L-78, M-22, 4:10 posi conv. Thanks to this board I once again own a car I should have never sold. The one good thing is the car has been redone and is stunning. Does anybody know where I would find out how many of theese cars still exist and what options and colors they have and what the best Chevelle website is.

One of the members at Chevelles.com has put together a production totals poster with estimates for many of the combinations that do not have factory data.
For a 69 Chevelle SS L78 ragtop, estimates are 216 total cars produced (180 manuals and 36 automatics).
