Default Jim Hughes' Yenko in Dec Hot Rod

Named as one of the top 25 homebuilt cars. They know it's not home built but they liked it anyway. Congrats Jim........page 30

In the same issue there is a pretty good article on racing on Woodward Ave. They got some input from Jim Wangers about how they would go out in Royal Pontiac GTOs and street race. Also check out that awesome 2001 Berger Camaro SS. That's a sweet car. I think it costed Matt Berger something like $57,000 to build the car. Later, Dan

I liked the insert reference regarding the Huntington article on the #3 ZL1, done in 1969. Who is doing their proof reading?

It was in the new issue of Hot Rod Magazine. It was a side bar to the 2001 Berger Camaro article. Dan

Shhhh...You don't want it to have a Stuffed up Nose do you ? Actually it just sits now and I drive the Pro Touring cars instead...A bit faster and I like the AC and pump gas.

Just returned from a trip to Mexico and down to Super Chevy in Las Vegas. That picture was sent to Hot Rod almost three years ago, but it is neat to get some recognition for the Supercars!! Showing for Super Chevy was pretty weak. This was my first one since '89 in Seattle. Seems to be devoted 80% to racing,10% to Swap meet and vendors and 10% to show. (just my opinion).Probably 200 cars. An unusual, very nice Z28, black, stripe delete, no cowl hood, deluxe interior, rose wood and JL8 brakes.
