Default storage unit find 69Z28 project

I thought i would share a few pics. of this 69Z i got last month. Its an early car 10 D pre x code car. Been in some type of storage for over 45 years. The owner died of covid shot issues and willed it to his niece. She had no means to be able to put it back together and decided to sell it. Hasn't been on the road since 1977. Motor and trans are missing. Came with another DZ block but its bad and a hot rod 350 that is bad too. The 480 dist. was laying in the back floor and the orig. flywheel was there too. Orig 373 rear it still there and orig rad. too The car was orig. paint before they started stripping it. Needs lower quarters and outer wheel house work. Only other rust is at the bottom of the dash. Had a w/s installed at some point and i'm sure they scored the dash metal and started it rusting. Floors have no rust. Only sheet metal missing was the right fender but it has a nos fender with it. Real red on red z car. Interior is complete and orig. minus the dash pad.

Solid car. Lots of potential with original interior.

Post 69 z....

Very cool...

Any chance it could be cleaned up and driven as is [with a motor of course]..??

Rear housing looks great...no pitting that I see.

Why no power booster for the brakes..??

Good luck...

I've seen the car in person at Kerry's Shop and it was a good score. The car is in very nice condition and Kerry is bringing it back to life.

The original dated brake booster came with the car but it was removed for some reason.

Great find. Love Red/Red.
In a situation like this what will you do for an engine. I.e. build a 302, or say a L79 or LT-1 that looks like a 302?
