Default 1968 Corvette transistorized ignition question.

Does the T.I. system not use the cloth covered resistor wire to the +side of the coil? The illustration on line looks like it doesn't but has a separate white wire coming from the T.I. box. I tried firing it up for the first time and it seems like it wants to start after you stop cranking and return to the run position. I put an HEI in it and it started right up. Is there in fact a separate wire that goes to the positive side of the coil instead of the resistor wire?

The K66 ignition needs constant 12v supply. The resistor wire is bypassed.

Here's how it was configured for a Camaro. Since it was a Corvette option, there must have been a dedicated harness for it.

I’ll also add that if your battery isn’t fully charged it will not start.
