Hello, I have a question about a Chevelle build date on the build sheet. I’m sure it varied from assembly plant to plant but would it be possible to have a cars build sheet date and protect o plate date be only 11 days apart? Is there a typical time frame? Thanks for any info. Shane

The Chevelle build date on the build sheet is only a scheduled date and many times not the actual build date. With regards to the 1970 Chevelles, I often times see a spread of several days. Not sure I have ever seen one that far apart but it would certainly be plausible if something happened in the scheduling of the car.

I just entered a car with a date of 12/15 on the broadcast sheet and date on pop was only 5 days later. Definitely possible if it was a customer ordered car and plant wasn't far from dealer
