Default XT dates

Going to put a fresh coat of Ermine White paint on my XT wheels and had never paid any attention to the date on the left of the valve stem. On all four wheels it say K 1 9. Doesn’t that mean first week of November 1969?

K is for Kelsey Hayes 1 is for Chevrolet 9 is the year.

^ yep. Also, typically, the month is stamped between that 9 and the hole and the day between the hole and the XT. Typically. Cheers.
