Beautiful restoration - $125k buy-it-now price. Sold new by Aero Chevrolet who I believe also sold the first Z/28.
Deck stamp looks incredibly clean and fresh - any thoughts? ----I won't comment on the stamping, Tony, except the broach marks are decent. The car has either the wrong Holly or the PCV hose is run completely backward, and of course, the 390 hp (IL) option didn't have an aluminum intake and dual feed carb. A small note, the redone seats need some tightening.
----Oops, just noted the high redline tach. It doesn't seem to be an attempt to deceive, but maybe a former owner just wanted a 425hp car. Would have been nice to note any of that though...Bill S Last edited by olredalert; 02-15-2025 at 09:16 PM. |

that stamp certainly looks fresh after being done 60 years ago, but maybe it was well kept in a garage all its life which helps.
