Default '69 Camaro #s SS396, #s 325hp/4-sp, Red on Red

Pretty cool car with a VE3 bumper, was on my local Craigslist for some time for $35k but I never checked it out in person. Kinda wish I did...current seller is flipping it.

80's redo looks like to me. Very old cheap floor pan replacement, gloss black floors. The seller bought it at the right price at around $35K to spend a little to make it right. But already at a lofty number. However Red/Red real BB and original drive train. A lot to like here.

I am guessing that back in the day, anyone purchasing a BB 69 Camaro without A/C never drove an L78 or even the 350 horse version.

The farted around with a few 325 HP Camaros, and am not sure one could outrun the standard L48, other than the burnout. The first time I drove one hard, I thought it must have had something wrong with it. But then the others were just as bad.

If you are going 4 speed and no A/C, just go big or stay home.

Looks like the guy will do OK on the flip, assuming he didn't set the reserve too high. Not exactly a home run after Ebay gets their cut.

Apologies to any of you who have and love their 325 horse BB. I am sure it doesn't take a lot to wake one up.

I had a x66 325 HP convertible, automatic. The car ran ok, but not a barn stormer for sure. The Turbo 400 shifted awesome and yes the burnouts were good. The car idled like a station wagon though. Not very impressive to say the least.
