Looks like an interesting car, and the seller claims it's only had two owners. Might be worth looking into if there's some room in the price.

Interesting stripe, never seen that pattern before on a C1.

Were they stamping the vin on the engine pad in 62 ?

I believe so - I've seen it on the higher HP '61 Corvettes.

IIRC didn't that start mid 1960 model year??

They stamped the assembly and VIN on the pad in 1962.

Seems to me that is a fair price, and I personally like the stripe. All subject to an inspection.
