Default New Camaro for the wife.

With Camaro going away again, we had planned on getting my wife a 2024 for the final year but GM went and raised the price by almost $4k and killed GM Employee pricing. We couldn't really justify the big price increase so she decided to take the last 2023 V8 that I had inbound. It's a 2023 LT1 with RS package, technology package, performance exhaust and 10 speed auto. I had leather and some other goodies waiting for the car when it arrived.

She loves it!

I saw the headline: "New Camaro for the wife", and thought: nice trade!

Just kidding; there is no car on the planet I would trade my wife for.

Congrats, nice Camaro. What's the difference between the LT1 and the SS?

The LT1 is the base V8 Camaro. It's more street focused vs. the SS which comes with some more track focused standard equipment. It has the base 4/6 cylinder body appearance but with the LT1 V8.

No launch control, track mode, extra capacity cooling, rear diff cooler, trans oil cooler or aux engine coolant cooler. It comes with a squared wheel/tire setup with skinny all-season tires instead of staggered with summer only tires like the SS. It has 4 piston front brakes, SS has 4 piston front and rear(6 piston front available on SS for $995).
