No Max Wedges in 1965. Last year was ‘64. This is a street wedge.

Pardon the ignorance Sam (and fellow Mopar gents)... this car is a 426ci Chrysler with a single 4bbl?

Plymouth called the Hemi a Super Commando 426 in 1965.

Is it a Hemi head though?

Not an expert (but I know some ;>))....

Never heard of the HEMI being called a Super Commando - I have heard the 440 ci engine called that.

Altho the 60's HEMI and the 2nd iteration of the Max Wedge (starting in 1963), and the Street Wedge were all 426 cubic inches, they are all very different animals.

The advertised (ebay) '65 Ply Belvedere is stated to be a "Street Wedge" and if that is correct that would not/could not have a HEMI head due to it having a totally different block.
