Back in May of 1967 , how much new 1967 Camaro did you get for $3500 on the East Coast?
Anyone got original sales or purchase information that shows these sort of values? |

Are you looking for MSRP, or out-the-door price after haggling with the dealer and adding taxes, fees, etc.?

Bill ,
I'm after both. It would be great to see what you actually got for $3500 back in the day. This is why I'm keen to see original advertising as well as purchasing info and invoices etc etc. |

I think u could get a nice z or 375 car for that much without a lot of goodies or a pretty loaded up grocery getter.

In Jerry MacNeish's 67-68 Z28 book, he has several 67 Z28 window stickers reprinted. The least expensive (MSRP) one is for $3513.30.....optional equipment includes power disc brakes, tinted glass, J56 heavy duty brakes (probably metallic linings?), the Z28 package, 4 speed trans, radio, and positraction axle. Others noted with more options are, of course, more expensive. He also shows an invoice for a pretty loaded up 67 Z28 that went out the door for $3366.97 (no MSRP noted on the invoice).

Below is a snip from an original 67 Chevrolet Dealers newspaper ad.
It shows what I was trying to get hold of.... The LH column lists the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price. The RH Column lists the Dealers Sale price less $295 deposit. |
