Hello fellas ... I am looking to pick your brains. I am looking for opinion as well as fact. What is the correct style of white letter stamping on the upper radiator hoses. I have seen a few different versions and I am curious as what you guys perceive as being more correct. The majority of hoses on the market read like such (69 SBC HD radiator)(TOP LINE) GM AU (BOTTOM LINE) 3956662 JR (I assume the double letters are a date code) Then I see on the "Desert Rat" that the numbers are on the top line with the GM AU designation on the lower. In your opinions or as a matter of fact which do you believe is more correct. Like I said just picking your brains since you gentleman are more likely to know what is correct. I appreciate any and all feedback

I did all kinds of research on this a few years ago... here is what I came up with for the 69 SB hose, however I will note that I have seen different stamps.

That is exactly what I have been finding. It seems the most common version is with the GM AU on the top and the P# underneath but the print is all the same size. I am just trying to get a general consensus as what you guys feel is more correct. We are trying to zero it in so we can begin manufacturing them as close to correct as possible. It appears Pacecar Jeff has not been on for quite a while so I do not want to bother him. Thank you for your input guys I do appreciate it
