Does anyone know what the "F 406" on this 1969 Camaro Trim Tag represents?
This is purportedly a '69 Z-28, but being that it is a Van Nuys built car and not a Norwood car with the X33 or X66 code, is there anyway of knowing from the trim tag or the VIN (124379L530914) if it is a real Z-28? ![]()

F406 - 406th body on the 6th (F) day of the week. You can't tell a Z from that tag unfortunately - it's a Los Angeles car.

Check and see if you can find the corner of the build sheet on top of the fuel tank.

It will be on the drivers side front corner of the tank if there is one.
