I was at Gooding on Saturday when it roared across the block and went no reserve. I wasn't sure it was the right venue, but I couldn't believe it when it got a SINGLE bid at $50K and nobody else bid. Who knew? Certainly not me or I would have had a bidder's pass. Gorgeous car, great history. It sold a few years ago for 3 times this amount.

Previous link is the first, 22jr which is flathead powered. This Buick powered car is #2, and sold a couple years before that at the same auction house. |
