Default Ford B-24 Liberator build video at Willow run

Don't know if this has been posted before. They could produce a B-24 in 55 minutes.

Great American history. Wonder where they stuffed the build sheet?

In with the Form 781s (if there were such a thing back then) LOL

I'll bet they did have 781's back in the day.

Very cool video. I used to fly to Willow Run often when I flew corporate. Amazing to think of the significance of the airport and facility to WWII.

Hard to believe that only a handful of these planes exist today.

Agree Phil -- A number of years ago I knew a man who was a Flight Engineer/Top Turret Gunner on a B-17 ... I could have asked him. But our Lord needed a good man and took him to his side. TAZ

Very cool Charley. If you guys like museum quality vintage aircraft, cars etc., check out the Collings Foundation in Stow, MA. Very unsuspecting location in Stow, but well worth a look. They still fly many of them and offer ride alongs. Amazing private collection that's only open to the public at certain times of the year.
