This is my friend's dream car. Is this an impossible car to find? I guess it makes a huge difference if it is a factory Ram Air car.
Anyone know of a car like this for sale? 67 GTO Hard top Unmolested Triple Black (with vinyl top) Italian wood grain accents Factory hood tach 400 / 360hp (HO) Ram Air (nice to have but can be added later) <------his words 4 speed Factory AC Factory Rally instrument gauge cluster Rally II Wheels Disc brakes Power windows (nice to have but not required) If you have one please let me know, Thanks, |

First off, AC not allowed with RA.
And then you mention the HO motor, which is not a Ram Air motor, so which is it? These are two very distinct animals. However, the HO car you can get with AC. |

I don't know Pontiac specifics that well - but it seemed a little odd if you were able to get A/C with the top engine option. I did not know what was possible. So then, we now know what is possible and actually its nice to know since there are potentially a lot more HO cars compared to so few ram air cars produced. That much I found through initial research. If anyone knows of one for sale the info would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Both were rated at 360 hp but Ram Air cars came with 4.33 gears standard, among other things. It's not unusual to see a GTO with the ram air accessory but that doesn't mean it's a real Ram Air car. And don't be swayed by the idea that top engines can't have AC, as you could get AC on Cobra Jets, Stage 1s, and W-30s (depending on the year, and only with an automatic). |

He may be going to buy a Linden Green one on Wednesday. Let's find him a Black one if its out there. But its got to be a true Black/Black 4 speed with A/C to get his attention.
Mr. 442w30 thanks for the info. |
