I recently picked up a 70 Chevelle SS396 project.
It was pretty complete and unmolested when pulled from behind a barn @12 years ago, in that time it has changed hands at least 3 times, been disassembled and various parts of restoration started. Seems the distributor was pulled prior to pulling the engine,(I assume to protect it from damage) incorrect distributor put in its place (I assumed to keep dirt out of engine) Original 1112000 is MIA. I have a number of 1111999's. What is the difference between them?
