Default 1969 Chevelle Baltimore Plant question:

1969 Chevelle Baltimore Plant question

The 1969 Baltimore trim tag has a 6-digit number under the paint code to the right of the B or BL or BM, etc codes. Does anyone have a window sticker or car shipper who can check to see if their 6-digit number matches the window sticker or car shipper number on the top right of their paper work. Also, if anyone has an original build sheet or broadcast copy can you see if this 6-digit number appears on that paperwork and in what box.

Thank you,

Paul

Here's the reference page from Dale's site where the number is listed as partially unknown.

<span style="font-size: 14pt">One of the TT examples on Dale's website is my '69 Chevelle SS (the one with the 787 interior code). Link above to Dale's '69 TT discussion did not work so try this.

My TT:

(Note the &quot;BL180612&quot; on the 4th line.)

I do not have a build sheet, window sticker, or car shipper, but I do have a trim card:

According to Dale's research, regarding the last group of alpha numerics on the 4th line of the TT ...<span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">.&quot; The first 3 digits have not been correlated to any paperwork to date but the second 3 digits correspond to the trim inspection sequence number found on the trim card.&quot;</span></span>

In other words the &quot;612&quot; on my TT matches the &quot;612&quot; on my trim card. </span>

Thank you Sam, so it stands to reason that this 6-digit number has no correlation with the window sticker or broadcast ID numbers as they do on some other trim tags from other plants or other years.

Thanks Much,

Paul
