Is the 70 L89 ragtop a documented L89 car? This is the first time I've ever seen it. I didn't know there were any documented 70 L89 convertibles in existance. Also, shouldn't the steering column be black. The 3 Yenkos are well known cars.

Also interested to know if the 1970 Chevelle SS 396 L78 L89 Convertible is the real deal. If so bring it to MCACN 2014 for the Chevrolet L89 Showcase.

The L89 looked rather dubious to me. Freshly stamped engine pad. All the other cars were real deal, known cars with original paperwork. I don't think there is any original paperwork with that 70 L89.

So who is coming to New Jersey in September?

I've never seen any paper work on that Nova to prove it was converted? What you got?

I only know of one real 70 L78 Chevelle with documents and that is a coupe. There are a couple of other coupes that are not confirmed 100% and I have never heard of a real L78 convertible known to exist. Maybe Mr70 may know of one but I have never heard about it.

I believe the green Nova is the one that Greg Joseph sold to the the former present owner for something like $600k? Don't recall what paperwork was with the nova but the only thing the ragtop had was a fake laminated repro window sticker.
