Those are the old style. The spokes have round look (that's what I call it) the Jegs- Summit wheels sold today the spoke has a flatter look to it.

The cap is somewhat newer as it has the "R" for registered and the older ones didn't. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct on the "R" as the newer style. The lug holes are straight and the newer style are "Uni-lug" I'm sure there is more but they look good.

Uni-lug have been around for a long time. The rounder spokes is the key. Plus many are dated on the inside bead area.

I thought the earlier versions were painted in the lug areas?

Maybe bad Chrome in the centers but always liked that look.

Straight lug holes, no "R" on cap, and no paint on lug area are the earliest,I have found.

I believe the aluminum lug area is correct for the vintage Cragars. Early ones that I have seen had the painted center section aluminum color.
