Based on all the info I've collected from the people who know about these big cars, throughout my chase on the 4 spd one, she'll sit for a while at that price........

----For me, 1969 was the 1st year that Impalas really morphed into that huge area, size wise. I still wouldnt kick this one out of the garage and I know 68s are similar sized but they just didnt appear so humongous. This 69 would be closer to that value with 3 pedals,,,JMO!......Bill S

Dual snorkel air cleaner seems odd, as does that thermostat housing. Wonder what the sticker is on the passenger side inner fender? Bench seat/column automatic won't help the sale.

That is a Canadian oil change recommendation decal.

Definitely not the correct air cleaner nor thermostat housing for this car. It is Amazing what people ask for cars. I can't imagine this to be a car with out some sort of "Story" IMO & I have had a LOT of Big Block Impala's (first one in 1972, a 396 1966 Super Sport 4 speed car) and currently have a 1966 SS-396 TH-400, a/c, factory Bucket Seat, 2 spoke wheel power trunk release coupe. But what do I know? I do really like these cars, honest! They just take twice as much time & money to complete, but get 1/2 the $$$ when you go to sell them compared to a Camaro, Corvette Or Chevelle

Yes you are correct Bill in that the intake and thermostat housing are wrong for this car if in fact you are talking about it having factory correct equipment. The cast intake and correct rebuilt carb are sitting in my shop waiting to be installed. Been collecting factory correct pieces for some time now but wanted to install everything all at once. The air cleaner is an all time favourite of mine and just a personal choice. Thought I would throw the car up for sale to see if there's any local interest. I've always remembered an old saying when it comes to pricing old cars. You can always go down in price buy rarely can you go up. LOL Wish me luck!!
