OK will a 69 hood fit a 67 and how can I check if it is an original GM hood

The hood will fit 67-68-69. There will be a number stamped on the drivers side rear of the hood. It is a date code of the week produced. The rear sides of the factory hood is different than the repro . There is a pic of both on here somewhere.

To add to the info, they were only available from Dec 1968 on the 1969 model.
The Pace Car and COPO had them as standard equipment. For Z/28 and SS they were option and about 4500 were installed on those cars |
