Default What steering columns will fit?

I have a 72 Monte Carlo project that keeps taking twists and turns. The owner now wants a floor shift so we are looking for any tilt steering floor shift column that will fit in the 72 Monte. What all year and make columns are the same? I understand that all of the "A Body" cars may have the same column, I am just not sure what year range will fit. If this is wrong, please let me know.
