70 bb l78 coil bracket

Bolted the coil on my 70 l78 tonight and it does not sit flat on intake. Does a 70 l78/ls6 use a different coil bracket?The coil bracket bent the corner when it was tighten down. Anyone? thanks John

They do not use a unique bracket for the L78 or LS6 and use the same as all other BB's in that year #1970344.
