Default Goodyear Speedway white line tires....

I have come across a set of ORIGINAL Goodyear polyglass Speedway tires. They look like they have less than 100 miles on them if any at all. They are F60-15's i believe. They are a bit dirty. I am going to purchase these but I am wondering what a good price is for them? I am positive they are originals. I was told the came on Corvettes but I am not sure. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

If they are 'Vette tires, they will be F70-15's. What car are they going on and do you have the date code for them? Its not the miles, its the years on tires. I know of guys that have 42 year old tires (or older) on their car, but they will not drive them over 5 mph. I have also heard of vintage tires going flat while the car is being transported!!!

Current retail price for those tires is $215/ tire.

Contact me if you have questions. I will try to help.

If the tires are not dryrotted I would not worry at all about their age. I have a garage with over 500 vintage tires and every one of my cars rides on original tires and i drive them hard and at speeds up to 90 miles per hour. Ive had one blowout on me in over 10 years of driving on old tires. Theres nothing like the originals. if they are f60-15's and you dont want them I would be glad to buy them from you.

How do you decode those dates, and what are you asking for them?

UCO1B29:
1969/Sep/Goodyear/Akron/Size and sidewall

Perhaps you meant UDO1D45??
1969/probably after July/Goodyear/Akron/Size and sidewall

A pic or two would help
