My Horns did not work earlier this week on my 70 Chevelle SS so i took the original 890 horn relay off for a good clean up inside.
The relay just needed a good clean up and some gentle sand paper scuffed along the 2 contacts under the cover. The Buzzer now screams and the horns work like they should. The next problem though was when i looked at the Amp Needle on the SS gauges it was pointing to the 6 o'clock position instead of the 12 o'clock position . When i turn the car on the gauge still works but it moves in the upside down position. A friend of mine told me if i grab a 1.5 volt AA battery and touch the contacts of the back of the gauge that it may bring the needle back to its proper position? I even herd that it may go back eventually on it's own. Any opinions on what to do before i start taking the dash apart?

Problem fixed,
I got a new AA battery and added wires tape and held in place with electrical tape, then i hooked them up to the rear terminals on the back of the Amp gauge after removing the top of the dash and stereo speaker and i unhooked the car battery before doing anything. The needle jumped right back to it's original 12 o'clock spot Here is a photo of the little tool that solved the problem.
