Style and grace from GM.
These pre-1957 cars are really starting to grow on me. http://www.mecum.com/auctions/group_cons...SC0511_motorama I love the 53 Cadillac.

Thanks for sharing the cool link and you're not alone as this era cars are starting to reach me more now too!.
Being a Motorama display, it'd be cool if someone temporarily swapped the left/right front side chrome on the '53 'Vette so the spears pointed downwards like the original Motorama car!. ~ Pete

Those cars are nice. But 1953 GM products are dowdy in comparison.
For the year, I much prefer the Independents, such as the gorgeous Studebaker and the Kaisers too. Of course, Hudsons were neat. Mopars were sticks in the mud. Fords were not as nice as the GM's in my opinion. Nashes are interesting although I think I prefer the Airflytes. Packards were dowdy aside of the Caribbean, which are kinda the only car that rivals this set of '53 GM cars. |
