For The Wounded Warrior Project
Thursday July 22, 2010
Gettysburg, PA

National Nostalgic Nova (NNN) along with 1st Chapter would like to provide a day of history, cars, and bears for some of our Wounded Warrior Project members. NNN wants to promote awareness of our military heroes by offering the following:

-Meet NNN Greeters, at 9:00 AM, Boyd’s Bear Country, 75 Cunningham Rd, Gettysburg PA, Home of the World’s Most Humongous Teddy Bear Store. Load onto a Wolfe Bus Line Tour Bus and travel to the Gettysburg Visitor’s Center to pick up a NPS licensed tour guide. Continue on a 2 hour guided Gettysburg Battlefield Tour. A buffet lunch will be provided at General Pickett’s Buffet. After lunch, the tour bus will take you to the Wyndham Hotel in Gettysburg for an afternoon at the Nova Nationals Car Show. While attending the car show, you will have an opportunity to talk to the car owners and will be given a ballot to pick your favorite Nova. The top 5 Awards will be presented to the car owners by a Wounded Warrior Project member. At 3:00, you will load onto the tour bus or take a ride in a vintage Nova back to Boyd’s Bear Country. Upon arriving back at Boyd’s Bear Country, you will experience a Civil War Living History Re-enactment as well as a display of military hardware. At 4:30, you will be escorted to a buffet dinner at Rufus, Dufus, and Daryl’s Dinner Hall. After dinner, the Boyd’s Bear Country Manager’s Pick Award will be presented to the car owner and you will be visited by a special guest. The day’s event will wrap up with a Wounded Warrior Project raffle around 6:30 PM.

Our WIN day of fun is being offered to a total of 44 Wounded Warrior Project members and/or their families.
