Default Engine Bolts

I have a couple of bolts that I am trying to identify.

Is this the "correct" harmonic balancer bolt for a BBC?

Are either one of these bolts correct for the timing chain bolts?

1)

This is for a BBC timing cover...correct?

Thanks, Kurt

Default Re: Engine Bolts

Kurt,

CH bolt is correct for harmonic balance...BUT it is more of a Mid 70's-up headmarking. The C and L5 flanged head bolts are for timing chain gear to cam. ELH is 65-69 ish Timing chain cover/Small Block oil pan bolt.

Hope this helps, Rich
