Default Manual steering box ID??

I have a mint (NOS possibly) manual steering box I bought for my 67 Biscayne but I don't think its for a B body now that I look at it. The # on the steering box is 5679142. Whats it fit??? This # is not in my GM B body 58-68 parts book??. Thanks.

Now that I look farther down the page, the same casting number was also used on some 75-91 GM cars and some Jeeps too. Just looked on CRG and they show those casting numbers on 69 Camaro too. Maybe it was a generic casting that could have been used in anything depending on what parts were put in it and what steering arm was attached to it.

My 69 Camaro has that casting number on its steering box.
Original to my car.

That casting fits a lot of cars. No way of telling what's inside to know the original application.
What make you think it's 67-69?

I don't really know what years it was used (well 69 I guess). Just trying to find info out there and its all over the place??
Anyone know if they were used on B bodies too??
I'm going to dig it out and at least see what the date code is.
Thanks for the help.

Next to the cover on the pad is an A stamped there. There is a M888/1 casting mark. Date code?? Also there is a tag attached to one of the cover bolt stamped 110 4. It's saginaw box.
