I have a professionally restored set of 15 x 6 '67 Corvette trim rings that I am told are the same as '69 Z rings. Can anyone confirm this?

Mark thanks for the post - I was hoping to find a survivor grade set. Thanks in advance -

Mark,
The correct 1967 Corvette trim rings have an open valve stem area shaped as a "U" where as (I believe) a Z-28 trim ring has the oval valve stem opening like the N.O.S. "104" trim rings I sold you a while back. Maybe this is only true for 1967 & 1968, but I believe it was also true through the end of the 1969 model year. Bill Pankiw |

No problem Jeff.
Thanks Bill. I've had these for 3 or 4 years now and have never even opened the box that they were shipped to me in! I'll have to pull them out and see what they look like. Mark
