Default Kinda Muscle... 64 Impala 4dr hdtp 327 300hp

What is it worth?
Black on black 2 owner 327 300 hp power glide parked since 1984... looks to be 14k miles, one repaint in the mid 70's.

Car has not been moved since 1984, all books records etc bough new in downtown Greenville SC at Mike Persia Chevrolet. (forerunner to Rex Osteen Chev) was owned by my insurance agent's father, he passed in 84 and mother just passed. the original rad cap was in trunk along with a NOS 309 Pat pend dist cap. No rust at all been covered for years.

To me that is the kind of car that could pay for itself IFyou are in an area that they make a lot of old movies for a background car.

It has no value as a muscle car and it is basically worth what ever dependable transportation is worth provided it is.

I think it's kinda neat being a factory 300 HP car. Those little motors run hard. It's got a 4 BBL, large-valve Fuelie heads, small journal forged steel crank & rods. Kind of a shame it wasn't ordered with a four speed. I still like it though. It'd be a great summer car being a 4-DR hardtop. Roll all the windows down, throw 4 people in it with a cooler in the trunk and hit the local shows and swap meets! As far as value in this terrible economy, I'd throw it on E-Bay with a very high reserve that would never be met (like 8 or 10K) and let the bidders decide the value. Don't forget to include your phone number in the ad so that serious people can call you after the auction ends and you can sell the car without having ti pay E-Bay their selling fee, only the listing fee.

Yeah, 1.94.....large valves. Not the 1.72 valves that were in the 250 HP motor.
