Has anyone tried Just Dashes first gen Camaro restoration services?
Has anyone used the OER newer OE 68 or 69 dash pads...I'm talking about the expensive USA made pads with the foam core? Opinions on the cheaper urethane repop dash pads? ![]() Tony Huntimer Camaro Performers Magazine |

Tony...Give a shout to the guys on www.camaros.net. It's a 1st gen site with lots of specific info. I am pretty sure I've seen this question asked over there in the interiors forum.

IMO nobody has figured out the 69 pad.
67 and 68 can be sent to Just Dashes to be redone.

Just Dashes is good with 68 pads. I don't believe they are doing 69's yet but I could be wrong. A friend of mine just had his 68 dash pad done by Al Knoch in El Paso. Fabulous job and cheaper than Just Dashes. Again, not sure if they are doing 69 pads.

I'm pretty sure Just Dashes doesn't do '69 Camaro dash pads.
While I haven't experienced 1st hand, I've heard that the OER pads don't fit all that great. They are supposed to have a new (more expensive) pad coming out, but it still says it's not yet in stock. I'd give Classic Industries a call and ask. However, as said, if you do a search on Team Camaro, there's a few threads about this, many post stating how poorly they fit. |
