A member gave this to me at CVF. Years ago he wrote to Vince Piggins inquiring about Chevrolet doing performance clinics.

Wow-what an incredible letter. Vince Piggins adamantly distancing GM from racing but promising to keep performance at the top of the priority list for future cars. I love how Bill Jenkins was volunteered! Thanks for posting.

Teds a real nice guy,who really enjoys Chevrolets.
He was nice enough to give me a copy of that same letter 4 years ago, along with his initial inquiry after we met at Vettefest in 2004,but asked me not to post his vital info at the time. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat...true#Post110460 |

Same time line that the Gibb Nova's were just being built. Maybe that was what Vince was talking about.

Ford of Canada sure had now qualms about performance. They had Harry Sherry paint a car hauler and four cars which went around for clinics and car races.
