Need some expert help -
Where do you find build sheets on a 67 Chevelle? How many 1967 factory SS427 Chevelles were made, if any? Other than documents, what would I look for to prove its a real, factory 427 Chevelle, besides engine VIN stamping? Thanks |

No factory 67 427 Chevelles were made. That doesn't rule out a dealer modified car...but the build sheet if found would reflect the engine originally installed in the car

Dealer conversions most likely would not have the corresponding VIN stamp on the block. And unless you are an expert at examining such nuances as broach marks and metal stamp fonts, don't look at the engine VIN stamp as proof positive of a car's pedigree ![]()
