Default Updating vintage gauges w/modern electronics?

Is there anyone out there who offers such a service?

Long story short, while working on the Chevelle today, it became obvious that there is absolutely no way my vintage 10K Dixco tach is ever going to keep up with the actual rpm of the 496...we're talking serious lag time here.

Just wondering if updating the tach is a viable option here since I really don't want to use a modern tach in the car.

TIA

Eric

Dixco tachs were not known for their longevity or durability. A Sun or SW may be a better option for you. They are much better quality. The 8 and 10K Sun Super Tachs do not require a transmitter.
