Fire.Fighter Dies in Toronto propane fire
We lost a fellow fire fighter in a Toronto propane fire Sunday night. I had met Bob Leek at Fire College on a course and I feel terrible for what has happened to him on Sunday night while working at the fire.RIP Fire Fighter Leek

That's too bad. We have lost two close friends who were firefighters...my condolences to his family!

RIP FF Leek.
The guy who took my spot when I left(Atlanta Fire, Engine 16-C Shift Hoseman)was killed in a flashover. Propane tanks are scary. We went on a roofing company job and they had several large propane tanks that were fully engulfed. They were all venting via their relief valves and I was sitting on a deluge gun (it wouldn't stay put by itself)trying to cool them down. That was 100% pucker factor. In hindsight we should have backed off and let them blow, but it all turned out fine and we saved several businesses that were exposures.
