'70 Chevelle SS396/4-sp
A friend of mine from work asked me about this '70 as he's been looking around for one. Actually looks pretty decent although I don't know anything about the selling dealer. The Parchment top and interior really set it off....

----Some easy stuff under the hood, Tony. But, also wonder why the extra black under the hood on the fenders, and the exhaust looks cobbled. Be nice to have a complete Gardner exhaust on it. Oh ya, and the entire undercarraige is slathered in black. All that, but still a good looking 70 with a killer color combo.....Bill S

pretty car. Take some dry ice to the bottom side and see how it improves. And for me, if a 70 SS doesn't have the flapper on the cowl induction hood its a turn off.

Other than all the flat black fluff hiding all the crud and rust on the underside, it is very appealing with that color combo. The huge eye sore for me is the poor quality repro rear bumper and the fitment in the repro quarters and tail panel. The right headlights not being centered in the bezels is a known issue with some repro core supports as well. If your friend is seriously interested, there are a number of people in the Chi-town area that may be willing to look at this in more detail to determine the rest of the build quality.
