I'm looking for the bracket behind the dash that holds the convertible switch in place. Its for a 69 Camaro but I believe the same bracket was used in Chevelles and other cars for 69 and immediate years before and after. Any experts out there that can confirm this?
thanks

This may also be the same as the bracket that holds the rear defogger switch and/or tailgate window switch. Can anyone confirm this? Probably easier to find one of those if its the same.

Joe,
I agree, I really don't know what the bracket actually looks like so if anyone has a photo I would appreciate it.

I have a broken switch from a 67 Chevelle conv. It has a chrome face plate that screwed to the housing of the switch. The dash was sandwiched between. If you would like a pic, I would need a tutor.

Tom,
Thanks, while you have it out can you take a pic of the backside of the retaining bracket. I have a lead on a bracket but I want to ensure I get what I'm looking for. thanks Sam,
