Default '70 Z28 Engine Conpartment

I wanted to thank the guys from the site that helped me with the restoration of the engine conpartment, correct battery, fan shroud and all the other questions I had. Thanks Guys. Also for the motorcycle nuts out there like me, my good buddy rides this real XR750 on the street and it draws a crowd everywhere he goes.

Hey Hammer-
Your car looks great...but...can we have about 100 more pics of that XR??? Man-O-Man...!!!!! A real XR!!!!!

What year is it? How did he get it licensed for the street? Don't think those even came with a title.

Can't you just see them, flying down the back straight...chest on the tank, helmet bouncing, and left hand on the triple clamps!!!!!!

A great motorcycle.......if it was a car, it would be a factory Hemi Dart.

That Z28 looks good.Is the A.I.R. pump functional or gutted? Is it an LA built car?
I grew up with Jay Springsteen and Scotty Parker. Have had a few beers with Bart Markel. Still see them around once in a while. Them boys RODE the XR's.

The Z28 looks great Bart....nice work! .

XR750's are THE coolest HD! . Talk about a race bike that's all go....XR's were factory equipped w/ the ulitimate weight saving device....no brakes! . Good thing buddy has added some stopping power for the street!
There's a fella near me that has a XR750 he's losing interest in. . It's a real one, a '75 I believe? . It has lots of Nos parts and is a static display roller now but w/ a few more internals could be a driver. . The cases are autographed by Mert Lawwill also Springsteen and a few more of the boys. . The guy with it would step aside for the approximate $25,000 he has into it or a Mopar trade. .

Great looking engine compartment... post pictures on nastyz28.com in the "number matching" forum.

Tony, good question... When I spoke with Jerry M. he explained the pros and cons of each. What is the set up on your Z? This Z?
